Terms of Service

Last updated: March 29, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to KolmoPDF and its related websites, subscriptions, APIs, credits, and document workflow tools. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Acceptance and Eligibility

These Terms form a binding agreement between you, or the entity you represent, and KolmoPDF. You may use the service only if you have the legal capacity to enter into a contract and to bind any organization on whose behalf you are acting.

If you do not agree to these Terms or our Privacy Policy, you must not use the service.

Accounts and Permitted Use

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate, current registration and billing information and promptly update it when it changes.

  • Use the service only for lawful business or personal purposes.
  • Do not upload or distribute content that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law.
  • Do not interfere with the service, probe or bypass security features, scrape protected areas, reverse engineer protected features, or misuse automation beyond authorized product access.
  • Do not share accounts except as expressly permitted by your plan.

Subscriptions, Credits, and Billing

Paid plans, credit allocations, renewal periods, and pricing are shown on the website or in an applicable order form at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled before the next billing date.

Payments are made for subscription access and related digital service benefits, not for the separate purchase of stored-value credits. Any credits, usage allowances, promotional balances, or bonus entitlements made available under a plan are service features provided by us, may change over time, and have no cash value except where required by law or expressly stated by us in writing.

Unused credits or usage allowances do not create a right to a refund, cash-out, or transfer. Rollovers, expiration, and plan entitlements are governed by the product rules in effect for the applicable subscription.

Credits are generally issued according to a monthly entitlement schedule associated with the applicable plan. Unless we expressly state otherwise, upgrades take effect on the next monthly credit date, and already granted credits are not reversed, clawed back, or reissued on a daily prorated basis.

We may limit or decline downgrades and certain billing-interval changes. Same-tier switches between monthly and annual billing may be available only at the end of the current paid term, and mid-term switches from annual billing to monthly billing may be unavailable.

Subscription Transition Rules

Please review these transition rules before subscribing. Only the paths below are supported; all other changes are rejected.

  • Same-tier monthly to yearly: The original monthly subscription is cancelled immediately. The yearly plan becomes active right away, grants one fresh points allocation, and follows the new yearly cycle.
  • Monthly lower tier to higher tier: The original monthly subscription is cancelled immediately. The higher monthly tier takes over right away, grants one fresh points allocation at the new tier, and follows the new cycle.
  • Yearly lower tier to higher tier: This does not start a new annual cycle. The system only charges the upgrade difference for the remaining undistributed grant cycles, and all future grant amounts follow the new tier.

upgrade_fee = (new_annual_price - old_annual_price) * remaining_months / 12

  • All other cases: Any subscription change outside the cases above is rejected.

Cancellation, Suspension, and Termination

You may cancel future renewals at any time before the next billing date. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not retroactively cancel the current billing period or automatically entitle you to a refund.

For annual plans, cancellation generally stops renewal at the end of the current annual term. It does not accelerate refunds, convert remaining scheduled entitlements into cash value, or override the product rules that apply to future credit deliveries during the paid term.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account is being used unlawfully, fraudulently, or in a way that threatens the security, stability, or integrity of the service, or if fees remain unpaid.

Intellectual Property and User Content

KolmoPDF and its website, software, branding, and service materials are owned by us or our licensors. Except as permitted by law, you may not copy, resell, or exploit the service beyond the rights granted to you as a customer.

You retain your rights in content you upload, subject to the permissions needed for us to host, process, transmit, store, secure, and otherwise provide the service in connection with your use.

Disclaimers and Liability

The service is provided on an as available and as is basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every workflow or regulatory requirement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, and punitive damages are excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
